Leadership
Nadine Bartholomew, Executive Director, has over 15 years of experience developing, promoting, and facilitating corporate engagement in cutting-edge issues including seafood sustainability, environmental stewardship, health and wellness, supplier diversity, and disability rights. Prior to forming “The Good Foodie”, Nadine was the Manager of Business Outreach and Program Development for Seafood Choices Alliance, where she initiated relationships between key stakeholders that built and strengthened corporate awareness, reach, and credibility around the issue of sustainable seafood.
Nadine also worked at the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) where she developed and implemented programs that promoted the community relations, supplier diversity, and urban affairs initiatives of food retailers and wholesalers including FMI’s Neighborhood Partnership Awards program (NPA). Nadine began her career in the supermarket industry at Giant of Maryland. As a Marketing Specialist, she was responsible for developing marketing campaigns to promote consumer-based initiatives for the 192-store chain including Giant’s award-winning Healthy Ideas program. Nadine received her MBA from Loyola College of Maryland and is based in the Washington, DC area.
